INSTALLATION:

Preparation: Metal Roofs

Inspect the roof deck and tighten all loose fasteners. Replace all missing or stripped fasteners with oversized fasteners. Before installing replacement fasteners, spot prime the metal surface under new fastener locations with Excel-Coat Primer MCU-100.

Loose rust should be removed and surface primed with Excel-Coat Primer MCU-100 at 4.0 mils DFT.

Application:

Cover all seams with Butyl Deck Seal Tape. Using 4" wide tape to provide a two-inch overlap on each side of the seam.

Therm Coat 2000 should then be applied in two twelve mil. coats DFT minimum by rolling or spray. If spray equipment is used, carbide tips are recommended.

Preparation: Asphalt Base/Composition Roof

Thoroughly clean the existing roof substrate before application of the coating. The roof must be clean, sound, dry and free of any contaminating materials that would interfere with proper adhesion of the coating. This may require water blasting, scrubbing, power brooming or vacuuming.

Application:

Therm Coat 2000 should then be applied in two twelve mil. coats DFT minimum by rolling or spray. If spray equipment is used, carbide tips are recommended.

Preparation: Urethane Foam Roof

All surface to be coated must be clean, sound, dry of any dirt, grease, oil, debris or other contaminants. Before application, brush with a stiff bristle broom to a clean, sound surface.

Application:

Therm Coat 2000 should then be applied in two twelve mil. coats DFT minimum by rolling or spray. If spray equipment is used, carbide tips are recommended.
