Overview

• The Excel-Coat Fire System is a fire retardant, waterproof deck/roof coating designed for surfaces exposed to pedestrian traffic. The system is composed of a latex-modified, cementitous underlayment; a fiber reinforced waterproof membrane, texture and topcoats. 
• The Excel-Coat Fire System is specifically designed to provide waterproof protection, lasting beauty and a “Class A", one-hour fire rating on a plywood substrate.

The Excel-Coat Fire System advantages:

ICBO #4804                  Evaluated and approved as a “Class A”, one hour fire retardant roof/walking deck under ICBO's most recent criteria.

Waterproof                  The seamless, waterproof membrane protects the structure and surface of the roof/deck from the damaging effects of water.

Breathable                   The waterproof membrane allows moisture vapor to escape from the substrate without causing the coating to bubble or blister.

Durable                        The latex modified cement, reinforced with a galvanized metal lath provides superior dimensional stability, flexibility and compressive strength to the system.

Water Based                VOC compliant and environmentally safe products are non-toxic, non-flammable and non-hazardous.

Skid Resistant              The finished surface can be varied to achieve the desired texture and degree of skid resistance.

UV Stable                    The deck coating will not discolor, fade, break down or deteriorate due to direct sun exposure.

Quick Drying                Water base, acrylic components ensure fast, reliable dry times. Each step of the process can receive same day foot traffic. Ideal for retrofit applications!

Easy Maintenance       The waterproof coating will clean up with soap and warm water or Prosoco 2010 All-Purpose Cleaner for tougher stains.

Colorful                        The Excel-Coat Fire System is available in 16 standard colors, with the option of two-tone color textures, patterns and designs with clear seal coats. Custom color matching is also available upon request at an additional charge.
